Everyone has a specific thing that they want to accomplish. Everyone has a dream about where they’ll be ten years from now. Most importantly, everyone wants to succeed and make these dreams a reality. In the following paragraphs you will discover what my goals and dreams are.
When I think about the immediate future, only one thing comes to mind and that is college. There are so many things I’m interested in and want to pursue as a lifetime career, but these are also what keeps me from making any big decisions yet. My main goal for now is to finish high school with good grades and try to narrow down my interests to one specific field instead of the broad vastly unrelated mess my dream jobs are. After I finish high school, I’m going to start working and putting away money to save while I attend Faulkner for two years getting my prerequisites out of the way.
After Faulkner, and within the next seven years, I intend to make use of the money I’ve saved and transfer to a college that specializes in the degree that I want to pursue. Little by little over the years, I want to work my way up through degrees until I have a Master’s Degree. Then I want to sit back, have a sigh of relief, and put my school days behind me. I want to get a job in my respective field, either computer programming or psychology, and really start making the money that, up until that point, I’m probably going to be sorely out of.
My life goals are no less ambitious. Once I retire, I want to travel to Europe and spend some time traveling the world. This has been a dream of mine since I was a little girl and out of all my other dreams, this is the one I want the most. I want to be able to sit on the front porch of my house and recall the adventures I’ve had all across the world. I want to see the Great Wall of China, Italy’s beautiful architecture and art work. I want to see Germany and Scotland’s amazing views. I want to climb mountains, and sail, and everything I can possibly do during my time across the sea. To accomplish this goal, I will work hard and save money and when I think I have enough, I will just take a leap of faith, and set out to have my own adventure.
My dreams are a lot closer and a lot more tangible than they appear, and I intend to make each one a reality. Everyone has the capability to accomplish their goals and see their dreams become real life. I wish everyone who has read this post good luck on their journey to conquer their own goals and live the best life they are able. I know I will be.
